The U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to consider whether judges can review the Department of Homeland Security’s decisions to revoke visas in the case of an American woman fighting to keep her Palestinian husband in the United States.

The court granted certiorari, or review, Monday morning in Bouarfa v. Mayorkas, a dispute about the judicial review bar of the federal Immigration and Nationality Act, which has life-altering consequences for U.S. citizen Amina Bouarfa, her family and countless other individuals whose visas have been or will be revoked by the government.
