At the final oral arguments for the 2023-24 term Thursday, members of the New Jersey Supreme Court honored Associate Justice Lee A. Solomon, who appeared on the bench for the last time before he will reach mandatory retirement age later this summer.

Solomon will reach 70 on Aug. 17, when his term of service on the court will conclude. During final oral arguments May 2, Chief Justice Stuart Rabner and the five associate justices recognized Solomon’s decade of service on the court and the varied positions he has held in public service throughout his career.
