Among the 12 disciplinary actions listed in the State Bar of Texas May report is a Houston attorney convicted in federal court of conspiracy to defraud, a Fort Worth attorney who lied to a state court to get a continuance, and Dallas attorney who didn’t know how to handle a client’s criminal expungement petition.
On March 28, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals entered an agreed interlocutory order of suspension in the compulsory discipline case against Houston attorney Richard J. Plezia.
