Attorneys for the U.S. Department of Justice and Google made their final arguments Friday to the federal judge who will decide whether the internet giant violated federal antitrust law by monopolizing the market for internet searches and digital advertisements.

“The ability for Google to raise prices whenever it desires is the definition of a monopoly,” DOJ lawyer David Dahlquist told U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta of Washington, D.C. “Pricing should be determined by competition” not by Google.
