Norfolk Southern Corp.’s lawyers were in court on Monday after plaintiffs’ lawyers who sued over the Feb. 3 derailment asked for more time to inspect the wreckage in East Palestine, Ohio.

At two hearings on Monday, U.S. District Judge Benita Pearson, in Youngstown, Ohio, worked with lawyers on a timeframe during which experts retained by the plaintiffs in some lawsuits could inspect the rail cars this week.
