Arent Fox announced last week that it had added nine lawyers to its New York office, with four insurance and intellectual property partners from Herrick, Feinstein and Moses & Singer. Elliott M. Kroll and Julius A. Rousseau III joined as partners in the insurance practice from Herrick, as does Alan R. Lyons, who joined as counsel. Ross J. Charap and Paul M. Fakler joined as partners from Moses & Singer. Arent Fox also added four associates.

Both groups cited similar reasons for moving from the regional firms to Washington, D.C.-based Arent Fox, as “we were looking for a national firm to expand our practice,” said Charap. roll said by joining Arent Fox, his group will have “an opportunity to work with some talented people not just in New York but also Washington and Los Angeles.”
