Squire Patton Boggs announced Monday that it will acquire San Francisco-based Carroll Burdick & McDonough, boosting its presence in California and expanding its reach in Europe and Asia.
Carroll Burdick has 55 lawyers in five locations, including a six-lawyer German office in the country’s industrial heartland. Its recent German clients include Volkswagen AG and Daimler Benz AG. The firm also has offices in Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Beijing.
