Amid a shake-up of executives, Cargill Inc., an agricultural product producer and distributor, announced the hiring of a longtime pharmaceutical general counsel on Tuesday.

Anna Richo will be the company’s general counsel, chief compliance officer and corporate secretary beginning Jan. 14, 2019. The company said in a statement that Richo is succeeding Laura Witte, who retired as the company’s top lawyer in May.
