A major part of bringing e-discovery services in-house is setting clear expectations for outside counsel during that process, experts said Thursday during Logikcull’s InHouse Conference.

Having guidelines before the law firm comes in will create a more efficient workflow for the outside counsel, Katie Lynch, director of legal support at Veolia North America in North Andover, Massachusetts, said. She explained that if outside counsel agrees to work with Veolia North America, they agree to work with the systems it already has in place.
