A former senior lawyer at Apple Inc., who handled some of the tech giant’s top legal, privacy and security issues, has left the in-house world and returned to private practice. 

Vivek Mohan joined Mayer Brown on Tuesday as a partner in the firm’s cybersecurity and data privacy practice based primarily in Palo Alto, California. Mohan had worked for five years in Apple’s legal department. He is the latest in a string of in-house leaders who have been lured back to Big Law
