Failing to plan is planning to fail—and it seems unlikely that there are too many legal ops professionals out there who would recommend that as a prudent course of action.

Still, the “Advancing the Strategic Direction of Legal Operations Within Your Department” panel held during the final day of the Corporate Legal Operation’s Consortium’s virtual Global Institute took pains to stress the value of a well-defined plan. This goes for implementing technology or even navigating a return to whatever normal awaits post-COVID-19.
