The New York-based private equity firm One Rock Capital Partners LLC has appointed Fola Adamolekun, a former executive at J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management, as general counsel and chief compliance officer.

At New York-based J.P. Morgan, Adamolekun served as executive director and deputy general counsel of Global Alternatives, leading the Asset Management Alternatives Solutions and Private Bank Alternatives Investments groups.

She previously was general counsel and chief compliance officer at Valinor Management, a New York-based hedge fund, and associate attorney at New York-based Seward & Kissel’s investment management group.

Adamolekun declined an interview request but said in a statement that she was impressed by One Rock’s record of investing in companies with high potential for growth and operational improvement.

“One Rock’s distinct approach to complex situations is truly impressive, and I look forward to working with management to strengthen the existing strategies and principles at the firm,” she said.

One Rock managing partner Tony W. Lee said Adamolekun’s addition will enhance the company’s finance expertise and position it for future growth in alternative investments.
