Carbon, the venture capital-backed 3D printing technology company that reached double-unicorn status in 2019, has chosen in-house veteran Karrie Rexford as its first general counsel.

Rexford is no stranger to the digital manufacturing realm, having spent 17 years as a vice president and associate general counsel at medical device company Align Technology, best known for creating Invisalign’s clear orthodontic aligners. She also had one-year stints as general counsel at Tandem Diabetes Care in 2020 and Health IQ in 2021.
