Big Tech is pushing to get workers back to the office, and employees are pushing back.

An Amazon corporate worker walkout scheduled for Wednesday, fueled in part by the e-commerce giant’s requirement that employees get back into the office three days a week, has brought renewed attention to the friction caused by return-to-office mandates and the power struggle playing out amid waves of tech industry layoffs.
