Longtime Teva Pharmaceuticals legal chief David Stark is stepping down after 21 years at the Israeli drugmaker, the last seven of them at the helm of its global legal department as the company grappled with an onslaught of opioid litigation and criminal charges that it fixed the price of generic drugs.

In a LinkedIn post, Stark said he has decided to part from Teva having resolved “extremely challenging matters.”
