The U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut ruled that a civil lawsuit against Ruger Firearms for its alleged role in a 2021 mass shooting in Boulder, Colorado, will stay in state court despite the gun manufacturer’s attempt to remove it to federal court.

On April 25, U.S. District Judge Robert E. Chatigny granted a motion to remand to state court the case filed by the estate of a woman who was killed, along with nine others, at King Soopers supermarket in March 2021.
