Jones Day has added litigation partner Eliot Pedrosa to its 44-attorney Miami office—the latest in a series of Big Law hires focused on Latin American practices.

For the past two years, Pedrosa was the United States Senate-appointed executive director of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), a 48-country organization that provides development financing in Latin America and the Caribbean via a $100 billion loan portfolio. Before that, he was at Greenberg Traurig’s Miami office for 19 years, finishing as the firm’s Miami litigation chairman.
