A Boca Raton lawyer filed a class action Wednesday in Florida state court against the company behind an annual outdoor electronic music festival held in downtown Miami that did not refund millions of dollars of ticket fees to its customers when it twice “canceled” the event due to the coronavirus pandemic.

He said this case is an example of the rise of mass arbitration, in which law firms can spread the costs of arbitration to comply with terms and conditions of legal contracts.
