Facing increasing client demand in real estate and business transactions, among other booming practices, the 81-lawyer, Tampa-based law firm Trenam Law is making moves to deepen its ranks, adding nine attorneys to its Tampa and St. Petersburg offices, the firm announced this week.

While the firm’s real estate practice was slow last summer as the pandemic raged on, managing shareholder and president Marie Tomassi said the practice has since gained momentum, prompting three real estate hires in the St. Petersburg office: senior counsel Joseph DiVito and Walter Trauner, and associate John Farris. DiVito joins from DiVito Higham & Vasti, of which he was a founding member; and Trauner arrives from Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick in Sarasota.
