Wyndham Vacation Resorts, a unit of Travel & Leisure, sued timeshare cancellation company Exit Hotline and other defendants Wednesday in Florida Middle District Court over alleged violations of the Lanham Act. The suit, filed by Shutts & Bowen, accuses defendants of falsely advertising services to timeshare owners that claim to aid in allowing for the ‘cancellation’ of existing timeshare contracts. Lawyers have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 6:22-cv-00674, Wyndham Vacation Resorts, Inc. et al v. Timeshare Exit Hotline a/k/a Airtime Media, LLC et al.
