A federal jury in Florida awarded $2.2 million in the latest 3M earplug case, with only one more scheduled bellwether trial remaining.

The verdict follows 14 previous trials in which nine other federal juries have awarded a total of $220 million and 3M scored six wins. The final bellwether trial begins May 9 in Pensacola before U.S. District Judge Robin Rosenberg of the Southern District of Florida.
