The next chapter has begun in the battle between Story nightclub and the City of Miami Beach with the filing of a complaint for injunctive and declaratory relief in a South Florida circuit courtroom.

Sean Burstyn, the founder of Burstyn Law in Miami, is the lead attorney for the plaintiff, Amnesia International LLC, also known as Story, which is the sister venue of the LIV nightclub at the Fontainebleau Hotel. Story accused the defendant, the city, of “targeting” it through its change of the liquor sale hours for the South of Fifth neighborhood in which the nightclub is located.
