Build-for-rent properties are proliferating across the country, and while most are still for long-term occupancy, the nascent market for short-term rentals is rapidly growing and attracting famous names. Their respected trademarks and other intellectual property heavily factor into agreements on sales, marketing, branding, amenities, architecture and, maybe most important, who owns customer data.

Well-known names in hospitality such as Hilton and Marriott are offering nightly residential experiences to complement their hotel stays. As part of our Rentyl Resorts platform, Bear’s Den and Margaritaville Resort Orlando have also added short-term rentals to their residential-development mix.
