The lawyer for a man who netted a seven-figure settlement after his tractor-trailer was hit by another big rig said key evidence included motorists’ footage of the defendant driver veering from lane to lane before the wreck and a police report saying he told an officer he was a “recovering drug addict” who had taken medication the day before. 

“We didn’t have to file suit,” said Fowler Firm principal Stephen Fowler. “We did the investigation and truck inspection, and at the end of the day they agreed to tender their policy limits.”
