The next judge to sit on the Douglas Judicial Circuit depends on the outcome of the May 24 primary nonpartisan election race between incumbent Cynthia C. Adams and Douglas County attorneys Corey B. Martin and Ryan C. Williams.

Update: May 3, 2022 – Candidate Ryan C.Williams announced on April 30 that he dropped out of the Douglas Judicial Circuit Superior Court race on April 29 to run as the Democratic candidate for Douglas County Chief Magistrate in the November 8, 2022 general election against Republican incumbent Chief Magistrate Susan S. Camp. Because Williams is no longer running in this judicial race, the Daily Report has removed his biography from this article.
