Augusta attorney Charles H. S. Lyons III is challenging incumbent Judge Jesse C. Stone for his appointed, and hotly debated, seat on the Augusta Judicial Circuit bench.
Both jurists qualified for the judicial race on March 7. Voters will decide between the two in the May 24 primary nonpartisan election.
