Despite headwinds in the economy, real estate practices at large Atlanta law firms continue to see demand, leading to a spurt of real estate partner hires announced this week. 

Alston & Bird on Thursday said it is hiring Stephen Peterson, most recently at McGuireWoods, as an Atlanta partner in its real estate finance and investment group. Meanwhile, Morris, Manning & Martin this week said it brought on Atlanta real estate partner Thomas Bartolozzi,  who chaired Taylor English Duma’s leisure and hospitality department.
