With national issues shifting to a state level, such as abortion rights did after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last year, Cory Isaacson is keeping busy as the ACLU of Georgia’s new legal director.

“In some ways we’re moving backward as a state and losing rights that have been long held by citizens of our state,” she said.
