As law firms continued pouring into Florida last year, many hailing from other states grew their ranks within the Sunshine State at a pace higher than firms with local roots.

An analysis of National Law Journal’s list of the 500 largest firms in the U.S. shows that those on the list with a presence in the state grew their local ranks by 3.4%. Firms rooted in Florida expanded their headcount in the state by about 1.5%, with these 25 firms collectively adding just under 75 lawyers.
