Tech company Kytch Inc. claims in its District of Delaware lawsuit that McDonald’s has blocked an easy fix to its notoriously out of order ice cream machines by maligning a competitor.

Kytch’s Clare Locke and Irell & Manella attorneys say the suit, filed late Tuesday night, is worth $900 million, alleging McDonald’s both stole technology for Kytch’s device in an attempt to create its own and in November 2020 advertising the Kytch device as a potential safety hazard.
