A patent owner who’s won $3 billion in jury verdicts over the last two years has jumped into the fray over a Delaware judge’s demands for transparency in patent ownership.

VLSI Technology LLC submitted a brief Friday formally challenging Delaware Chief U.S. District Judge Colm Connolly’s authority to require more disclosure than required by Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 7.1.
