Sidley Austin has moved away from its traditional vacations scheme template in its London office, after assessing how the scheme worked throughout U.K. lockdowns. Trainee committee members Patrick Harrison, Lyndsey Laverack and Oliver Currall discuss what other best practices they learned from the process below. 

Vacation schemes are Sidley’s main pipeline for recruiting trainee solicitors.
