Goodwin Procter is pushing its official office return date to March 14, 2022, according to a memo obtained by Law.com. It could be a bellwether for other firms as the omicron variant has ushered in a new period of uncertainty in the ongoing pandemic.

Some Big Law firms have yet to post return dates, having delayed their plans because of the delta variant’s spread earlier this year. Of those that have set dates, one of the latest—until Goodwin’s announcement Tuesday—was Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, which said in September that it would delay its official return to office until Feb. 1.
