Japanese law firm Masuda & Partners Law Office, in collaboration with Singapore disputes firm Drew & Napier, is in the final stage of preparing an arbitration case against the Swiss government, Law.com International has learned.

The two firms are currently working to organize claimants for a collective treaty action under the Japan-Switzerland EPA Free Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA), and are taking the entire month of May to recruit Japanese AT1 bondholders before filing the investor-state dispute trigger letter to the Swiss government at the start of the third quarter of this year, Drew & Napier said.
