Switzerland-based disputes firm Lalive, alongside co-counsel Boies Schiller Flexner, has succeeded in a mining arbitration involving the United Republic of Tanzania at the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes.

Lalive acted for claimant nickel miners Nachingwea UK and its related companies, with Zurich-based arbitration partner Marc Veit leading a cross-border team, alongside former Lalive partner Timothy Foden of Boies Schiller’s London office, who acted as co-counsel, according to an announcement by Lalive.
