Ropes & Gray has strengthened its London private equity offering with the hire of a managing director from U.K. private equity giants Permira, in the latest example of law firms hiring from their private equity clients.
Paul Armstrong will join Ropes & Gray’s London office in January as a partner after 17 years at Permira.
