Slaughter and May, Kirkland & Ellis, Linklaters and Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison are advising on the potential takeover of Royal Mail’s parent company, International Distributions Services (IDS) by Czech billionaire Daniel Kretinsky.

This is the second offer, which values IDS shares at 370 pence a share, from Kretinsky’s investment firm EP Group. It comes after the first offer, which valued IDS at 320 pence, was rejected.
