SAN FRANCISCO — Longtime Santa Clara County Counsel Ann Ravel will leave her post and join President Obama’s Justice Department this summer, according to lawyers and county supervisors with knowledge of the situation.
Her successor, at least in the interim, could be Assistant County Counsel Miguel Marquez, a former deputy city attorney in San Francisco whom Ravel recently brought into her office.
