SAN FRANCISCO — Even while San Francisco criminal defense lawyer Eric Safire was closing his case in an attempted-murder trial Wednesday, he was still waiting to see whether he’ll face any consequences for two recent incidents in his cases — one, his investigator’s handling of a victim-witness in this case, and the other, a courtroom tactic Safire used during a preliminary hearing in a murder case.
The district attorney and police are investigating Safire’s conduct in the incidents.
