SAN FRANCISCO — Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has some 25 judicial vacancies he can fill before his term ends in 10 weeks. If history is any guide, many of those slots will go to lawyers within the administration and other Schwarzenegger loyalists.
Three top Schwarzenegger lawyers are already being vetted for judgeships: Sharon Majors-Lewis, his judicial appointments secretary; Andrea Hoch, his legal affairs secretary; and Christopher Krueger, chief deputy legal affairs secretary.
