Five months after being disciplined by the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, two of California’s top plaintiff lawyers have been cleared by the State Bar.
In July, Walter Lack was suspended from practice for six months before the Ninth Circuit due to the filing of fraudulent briefs in a case involving pesticide exposure of Nicaraguan banana workers. Lack’s frequent co-counsel, Thomas Girardi, was reprimanded.
