Dorothy Liu was appointed by the San Francisco Board of Supervisors to serve a 6-year term as commissioner for the S.F. Ethics Commission. Liu, a Hanson Bridgett partner, is a member of the labor and employment section. She graduated from University of Washington School of Law in 1997.
William Turner and Andrew Turner have joined Downey Brand. The father-and-son team, which formerly practiced at Turner & Turner, focuses on eminent domain/inverse condemnation law. Andrew Turner, a partner, received his J.D. from Hastings College of the Law in 1989, while William Turner, a counsel, received his LL.B. from Stanford Law School in 1962.
