SAN FRANCISCO — Greenberg Glusker Fields Claman & Machtinger’s acquisition of half of Los Angeles’ Rutter, Hobbs & Davidoff appears to have hit some rocks.

A spokesman for L.A.’s Greenberg Glusker has confirmed that name partner Brian Davidoff and five other lawyers who were part of the initial group set to come aboard this month won’t be making the move, at least for now. He cited client conflicts.
