SAN FRANCISCO — At long last, the names are in for two vacancies on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
The White House on Thursday announced the nominations of Shearman & Sterling partner James Donato and Judge Beth Labson Freeman of San Mateo County Superior Court to the Bay Area's federal bench.
