PALO ALTO — Silicon Valley teams from Wilson Sonsini and Davis Polk have landed banner slots on the closely watched Twitter IPO,

The company lifted the veil on its plans after the market close on Thursday, just weeks after the site disclosed it had filed confidentially with the SEC. The public filing ends speculation over what firm would land the coveted deal, in which the not-yet-profitable Twitter plans to raise $1 billion.
