    YMCA General Counsel Enjoys Doing Good Works

    The Young Men's Christian Association is one of the largest volunteer groups in the world, serving more than 45 million people in 124 countries. As GC of the YMCA of the USA, Angela F. Williams is involved with contracts and corporate sponsorship. She advises local Ys on all matters, including union questions, and works with state lobbyists on legislative issues. Protecting the YMCA's marks and brands is critical, Williams said, noting that no other organization "owns a letter of the alphabet."
