Last year was a landmark one for federal enforcers going after companies that violated foreign anti-bribery laws. And now 2010 is on pace to set a new record.

With the flurry of legal actions in the news, it seems general counsel can no longer simply shrug and say they didn’t know an employee was violating provisions of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
