To find an answer, ALM vice president / research Nigel Holloway interviewed Jonathan Oviatt , chief legal officer of the Mayo Clinic, during Corporate Counsel ‘s virtual GC conference about the legal department benchmarking surveys. In an informal and wide-ranging conversation, the two pointed out some of the more interesting findings from the surveys on compensation and metrics, and how Oviatt and other chief legal officers use metrics to do their jobs.
