The Assembly Judiciary Committee on Monday recommended passage of a bill that would expand the Rape Shield Law to include civil actions.
Current law provides that evidence of an alleged victim’s previous sexual conduct is not admissible in a trial of sexual assault charges, except in limited circumstances.
