Off-campus meetings with military encouraged

Nearly the entire faculty of Stanford Law School, including dean Larry Kramer, has signed an e-mail to students encouraging those interested in a career in the military to meet recruiters off campus. Central to the faculty's objection is the military's controversial policy of "don't ask, don't tell," which many in academia find to be discriminatory towards gays and lesbians.
